Bronze Altar Salt Cellar (version 1)

We will have a new and improved version of this product soon! In the meantime, the original versions are on clearance to make way. Please note: the discounted version does not come with the spoon shown in the second picture.

Elevate your Shabbos and Yom Tov table with a salt cellar designed as a 1:60 scale¹ replica of the bronze altar in the Mishkan (the Tabernacle).

In an era where we do not offer animal sacrifices, our sages liken our Shabbos and holiday table to the altar itself and require salt when breaking bread². This scale model and conversation piece is inspired by that parallel.

Each piece is meticulously crafted from a single block of aerospace grade aluminum, then anodized a beautiful bronze. A felt pad is applied to the bottom to avoid scratching your table.

This sturdy salt cellar measures precisely 56 x 56 x 80mm (approximately 2.2 x 2.2 x 3.15 inches).

¹ According to R' Avraham Chaim Naeh's opinion that a טפח is 8cm. The Chazon Ish's opinion of 9.62cm per טפח would make this approximately 1.39:100 scale.
